The “Actor Slate” is a relatively new invention in the acting world. Simply put, it is a 60 second video interview designed to show your personality. Casting directors and/or agents are often very busy, and they are viewing hundreds of demo reels. The “Actor Slate” gives them a quick look at who you are, and it punctuates those elements of your personality that makes people want to work with you. A well received actor slate will open doors that a headshot alone can not.
